Artist's Comments Eric Marienthal is an absolutely incredible jazz saxophonist. In addition to his solo career, he's currently the lead alto saxophonist for Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band. I had the extreme honor of meeting Mr. Marienthal at a Big Phat Band concert last spring. His autograph is hanging on my wall, along with the autographs of other BPB members. The reference photo for this was taken by ~perfectSky. Prismacolor pencils and 40-50 hours on 18x24 Strathmore paper. I also took pictures as I went and put them together here. If you'd like to hear him play, here's a more recent recording of him playing with Lee Ritenour. You'll find more from there.  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
